The size of my thumb should me my size,
My toes a few grains of rice.
I should travel on the back of a bee,
And fly to all places I see.
My mattress a few small leaves,
On it I’ll sleep without any grief.
With a piece of cotton under my head,
A few wooden pieces to make my bed.
Tiny ants I will observe,
Strange memories I shall preserve.
The world of nature will be open to me,
Every small thing I’ll explore with glee.
First of all, the flowers of all types,
Then memories fruits raw and ripe,
Birds, animals, insects aplenty,
All seen in nature is bounty.
This my life will be unique,
The environment most scenic,
To be Thumbelina is one of my dreams,
Though something impossible it seems...............
